For those who should read this book today, tomorrow and in the future, allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Twilight Sparkle, Princess of Friendship from the land of Equestria. I, like so many before my and after me, have been brought to the world of Crystallis for the sole purpose of rescuing it. However, as you will see within this book, the way to do so is not what we and you have been told.
The purpose of this book is to gather the facts about us and this world, the main players behind all of this and to, hopefully, figure out a way to save this world without using some of the harsher methods we have been given.
My biggest hope is that this book is only used for the current generation of heroes, but if we should fail, the next generation of heroes need to see this. We should not allow this to go any further than it has.
